SOUTH CHINA ROYAL NAVY: After struggling for ninety minutes in the replay in the semi-final of the Lai Wah Cup Competition on the Garrison ground at Sookuapoo, another meeting between the South China and Royal Navy is necessary to decide who shall meet the Civilians in the final. A record crowd journeyed to Sookunpoo to witness the game and as the gate was mostly for deserving charities, the spectators were furthering a good cause. The replay has been fixed to take place on the Scokunpoe ground on Tuesday, next,, the kick-off being timed for 4 p.m.

RA. RECREIO.
On the Navy ground, the R.A. went down to the Club de Recreio, the final score being seven goals to one in favour of the latter. The R.A. were the first to attack but it was just a dash in the pan, for it was the only time in the first half that they got within range of the Club'a goal. The Recreio scored their first goal following a free kick, Remedios beating Stanton. The second goal was a gift by Stanton for he caught the ball from a shot by Remedios and was forced over the line. The third goal was scored by Fuertes who walked round Stanton and sent the ball into an empty goal. Gomano scored for the Recreio before the interval. Half-time, Club de Recreio 4. R.A. 0.
The R.A. commenced the second half with success. Getting away from the centre kick, they went down and Miles sent the ball into the net. This was the second half for the Club then took up only time they were dangerous in the the attack and scored three goals before the final whistle sounded. Gosana scored once and Silva twice.
The game opened in favour of South China but the Navy bachs were very sound. The Navy made several raids into South China territory, but combination was lacking Cormor, at inside left, was the most dangerous forward in the Navy line but heailed on several occasions to send the ball in the right direction. Hudson/kept Suea, South China's crack forward, well covered and the brunt of the attack fell to the wing men. Leung Fak Tong roce settled down to the right back position and he was given plenty to do in watching Connor Wright at titues was erraticound gave away corners, but on the whole he cleared his lines well. Grindell, was a forcefal player and several times got the ball away from the hoot of Chan Kwong Iu. The game was fast and exciting, the Navy taking the lead after about fifteen mingles' play Hyde received the ball from Hudson and swung out to Chatt. The latter returned with a perfect centre and Connor, meet ing the ball, sent in my fast shot that landed the ball in the right hand corner of the net. With this success the Navy again got down and Connor sent over the har. Chatt had a good opening but sent wide, Pang Kam Wing sent over a couple of good centres which Moodie cleared.
