The East Surreys haye some of the finest athletes in the Calony, and the competitions yesterday were keenly contested. L/c. Mackle. worth · secured” 19 points and won the Smith's Cup. Bandaman Hannan, the well-known local runner, gained points. He did not compete in the hurdle race, which was won by Hackleworth, Hannan won the mile race in 4mins, 57:4-3seca,
