V.R.C. FETE.

SATURDAY NIGHT'S SUCCESS.

It was

a very attractive programme at the V.B.C. fête on Saturday night, and from the beginning to the end enthusisam prevailed, and particularly | during the Challenge Team Raco. Tos teams entered and the race was judged en the best time. Five men swam at the same time and often two men knocked against each other, much to the discom fort of the swimmers, but it W83 hilarious enough for the spectators. The Hongkong and Whampoa Dock won a good race.

The competition for a silver cup to be awarded for the championship in the 100 yards members aggregate was undecided. In the two previous fêtes Bazavet and Kasmussen gained three points each. It "was anticipated that the competition would' rest between them. Eazavet, however, failed in the second beat of the 100 yards,
