The result appears to compare unfav ourably with that of last year, but it is not really so, as, if you will refer to the previous year's accounts, you will see that it included the sum of 887.000.odd. profit on the sale of 5,000 Cement shares, while on the other hand, you will notice that our actual working account for the year just finished compares very favour- ably indeed with that of the previous: year.
