Father Bernard Vaughan, preaching before a crowded congregation at the Church of the Sacred Heart, Edinburgh, on September 11th, on the occasion of the visit of the British Association pointed ant that science, philosophy, and religion were sisters born of God, each being charged with a definite mission; and so long as each minded its own busi- nesa no quarrel could arise between them.
