IMPORTANT TEST DECISION IN THE COURTS.
For legal and commercial purposes, the end of the war was on or about Saturday, January 10th.
This important decision was given by Mr. Justice Roche in the Ring Bench Division on January 14th ruling out June 29th, the date of the signing of the Treaty, as the date of the war's end.
