THE PACIFICATION COM-

MISSIONERS FOR TIBET.

Under the heading of "Porfidy Extra ordinary," the Chino Republican says:-- The fears that Yuan Shih-kai's action in appointing Mr. Hu Han-min and Mr. Ivan Chin, ex-Tutuh of Kwangtung and ex-Commissioner of Foreign Affairs at Shanghai, respectively, to be Pacification Commissioners to Tibet, was only meant to provide him with a pretext to remove these two officials from their important posts on account of parely selfish motives. are now justified by the announcement of. his intention to appoint Chang Ying-tang, Minister to the United States, and Wang Jen-wen, ex-Viceroy of Szechnen, to be Commissioners of Preification to Tibet It appears that since Yuan has sticceededl in removing the two officials in question from their posts, he has gained his object and he will now send neither Mr. Hu nor Mr. Chen to their posts so thoughtfully

secure even a few hours sleep. I tried a number of medicines, but they did me no good; and friends, noticing how thin I was getting, advised me to return to the better climate of the Indian hills.

One day when visiting a relative who had been very unwell I saw him taking some Dr. Williams Pink Pills and asked if they were doing any good. He said Yes, and alvised me to follow his example. I was feeling so poorly at the time that I did so.

Soon I found that Dr. Williams' Pink Pills were doing me a great deal of good. I slept better, the headaches were less severe, the Pimples ou my faos became les infamed in appearance, and before long, most of them die- appeared
