The Printeas Alice, with the German Mail, left Singapore, on Sunday, the 29th inst.. and may be expected here on or about Thursday, the 2nd November,
The Siberia, with the Sibering and American Mails, is due to arrive here to day. The Public are informed that the Christmas and New Year Parcel Mail to the United Kingdom and the Costinent of Europe by the long ses route via Gibraltar will be closed in this Office on Friday, the 10th of November, 1911, at 5 PM. This Parcel Mail is due in London on or about the 16th of December. The subsequent Farcel-Mail is not due to reach. London before the 30th of December. Parcels may be forwarded via Brindisi with an extra feo of 60 cent.
Percals-containing any article of Gold or Silver or Bilver Mounted Goods must be insured for at least part of their value.
All insured parcels must be sealed, all the seals must be of the same kind of wax and must bear distinct impressions of a private device. The device on each seal must be ibe me. Begimental Buttons or Badges, Carved, Crossed or Dotted lines are not admissable, Coins must not be used for sealing.
The Clarke of the Post Office are not allowed to seal or to affix stampe for the public.
