1. In making arrangements for the leasing of the Farms for the next Farm period of 1910, 1911 and 1912, the Government reserves to itself the right of vesting the Farms (as provided in the Proclamations concerned as named in Schedule A appended) in any person, by public or privata sale as may be thought fit.

Subject to the above reservation it is hereby notified that tonders will be received at the Office of the Secretary to the Governor, Sandinkau, up to 12 o'clock noon, on the 1st day of Ocroner, 1909, for the purchase of the exalu sive privileges of the Farms described below for a period of one, two or three years commencing on the 1st January, 1910.

3. The Farms, above referred to, are- BRITISH NORTH BORNEO-OPIVA, SPIRIT, GAMBLING and PAWNBROKING, as follows:-

(d) The successful tenderer will be called upon to enter a contract under the provisions of the Proclamations named in Schedule
