The Britishstr. Veliore reports: On Tuesday, the 26th May, in lat. S deg. 41 feet N and Long 109 deg. 33 feet E encountered a moderate gals whh Leavy sea from S Westward and increasing to fresh with strong squalls until subsiding afternoon of May 28th, in lat. 14 deg. 49 fest N and Long 112deg, 45 fert E when wind became variable and heavy swell was encouttored from N. Eastward which continued until vessel was within half a day of Hongkong frequent rain rquells. Barometer reading very low.
