Bertin, June 20th, Herr Matthing Erzberger, the ex-called Ban jamin of the Clerical Party in the Riohetag, whose name came into prominet ca through the revealation of the Colonial scandals which he made previous to the dissolution at the oud of last year, has been sentenced to-day to a week's imprisonment for libel.
In the course of the recent elections for the new Reichstag he tested a patophilet entitled "Why was the Reichstag dissolved?" and in this he discussed the question of concessions of land in South-West Africa Herr Ersborgar asserted that 32 per cent of the whols and in the Protectorate had been acquired in a dubious manner by land companies, and that intead of cultivating their property these companies ad their possessions for speculating purposes. PRIEST CHARGED WITH BASICAL MURDER.
