NEW YORK, December 14th, 1905. TO THE POLICYHOLDERS:
I had hoped to make some statement to you before this, but hase believed it was best to wait until I could give you a final conclusion in regard to the financial condition of the Sociaty bleed on full investigation. This or. plains the delay in connanicating with you.
On June 9th last, under the condition that I should have full power as to men and methods, and with no pledges of any kind to any one, I was elected by the Directors of the Society as CHAIRMAN of the BOARD, and at once assumed the active management of the Society's affairs.
Soon after I was elected PRESIDENT of the SOCIETY and the floo of Chairman was abolished.
