Shipment and discharge of goode and pas- Hangers will be allowed, in addition to Treaty Ports, at the following six Stages or Ports of Call:
Kumchuk, Paktauhan, Shishing, Letinghau, Takhing and Dosing, and steamers may land and ship passengers and their luggage at any of the following ten regular passenger stations:
Yungki (in Tailung Channel), Malining in Junction Channel), Kaukoug, Knlow, Wingon, Howlik, Lukpu. Yuetslug, Lukto, and Fangchuen (in West River). Passengers laggage must not contain articles subject to duty, and the presence of dutiable articles will reader the whole liable to colis cation.
Steamers are divided into two classes:
1. Local Rivor Steamers running from Can- Lou or Kongmoon to ports up river without leaving Liang Kwang waters.
2. Foreign-going Steamers from and to Hongkong, Macau, ale, trading for the voyage up and down river.
LOCAL RIVER STEAMERS will deposit their registers with their Consul or (if Consular- ly unrepraiented) with the Castoms at Canton or Kongmoon, whare the Customs, in addition to inspection or issue of the Arms Certificate, Certificate to the steamer FASS valid will issue

Native Goods imported at a Treaty Port
from Port of Call without passing another Treaty Port en roule pay Fall Import Duty at Part of discharge; exported from a Treaty Port to a Port of Call without passing another Treaty Port en route pay lixport Daty at Port of shipment. If passing a Treaty Port en route Native Goods imported or exported as above weut Native Goods from a Port of Call to a Pay Fall and Half Duty on discharge or ship Port of Call passing a Treaty Port en route must be reported and pay Full Import Daty at
said Treaty Port.
Cargo shipped at a Port of Call for a Foreign Port pays Export Duty at Kongmoon or Canton. Foreign-going steamers when apply- ing for Customs Clearance at Kongmoon er Canton are required to present a Manifest of all cargo on board, and either pay Duty er exhibit proof of duty paid elsewhere.
The above Rules take effect from 7th March, -1994.
