The British steamer Thales, from Swaton 10th Sept., hed strong E. to S.E. wind and sea, heavy squalls, high E. swell. In Swatow Gorman gunboat I'iger British gunboat Mohawk | and British steamor Wuchtig.

The Brilish steamer Chuysting, from Shanghi 5th Sept and Swatow 10th, had strong N.E. monsoon and high sea to Swatow. From Swatow strong N.E. gale and bigh tes, wind going round to B.E. with typhoonis squalle, ranch rain and high confused son to this port.

The British steiner Bealedt, from Moji 5th Sopt., had strong N. and N.E. winda with high following sea and overcast threatening sky. Of Lazamocks encountered hoary S.E, swell, wind backing to E. and ES.E., making high to fused sea, accompanied with squalls of hurricane force and thick heavy rain.
