The first half of the League Hockey programme should have been almost completed by now but, because of adverse weather conditions on the first two weekends of the season and the cancellation of mid-week matches from the second week in October, few teams have completed their fixtures. As only a few fixtures are scheduled for the remainder of Novem- ber this is an opportune time to review the season to date.
