Princess Alexandra yester- day toured the Island to visit same of the villages whtoh existed before the British far ever, flew on Hongkong. She stepped on to a junk of a kind similar to those that Chinese mariners have been sailing for centuries, and fo points as distant as the Red Sea and the apice tales of ancient Java. She saw Aberdeen's dingy heavily incensed 120-year-old shrine of the fisherfolk, Tín Hau temple. Then the returned via Shauki- wan. lu the afternoon she attended a garden party at Government House and met many of the 2,000 guests. And then, having completed an Intensive three-day round of engagements, the Princess re- tired last night after a visit to the Peak by tram to see Hongkong's "million lights" glowing.
