Making full use of their strong pack on Saturday after- noon the Army humbled the Navy by nine points (two tries, one penalty goal) to three points (one penalty gool) in a fast and exciting game.

In an earlier match on the same ground the Fusiliers proved far too strong for the 10th Destroyer Squadron whom they beat in a scrappy match by 20 points to eight points.

Despite the fact that the Army used their pack to good effect the game still stayed open, and was well worth watching.

Had they been able to keep the ball in play for o longer period they would have scored without my trouble, but invariably it went into touch, and the Army pack took over.
