NEW MARKS FOR 200m, 400m FREESTYLE AND 800m RELAY SET UP AT OSAKA
Osaka, July 26. Japanose swimmers set three new world records tonight but a United States team beat them 37-33 in a two-day swimming match here to avenge defeat in Tokyo carlier this week.
The U.S. team, led by Willis Casey of North Carolina, captured nine first places against five by the Japanese in the match of 14 events. They shared eight first places in the three-day meefing in Tokyo! of 16 events when the Japanese won 41-38.
