Russia's massivo third Sputnik, the largest man-made satellite yet achieved, which was launched into orbit today, may be specially designed to land again intact, US Scientists.
The cone-shaped satellite, nearly 12 feet long and nearly six feet across the base, weighs 1 ton 070 pounds, which is 1,800 pounds heavier than the second Sputnik, which carried the space- ! dog Laika.
