Djakarta, May 16.
The Indonesian Air Force announced today! that it had struck back at robal bases on Colebes Island. A communique said the Air Force had attackad rebol-held areas of north and central Celebes, causing heavy damages.
The rebol offensive has moved to eastern Indonesia since the rebellion on Sumatra was crushed by central government forces. Rebel planes have made sporadic attacks on shipping and other targets.
The communique sand government warplanes at- tacked Menado, the rebel capital on Sunday, destroying four rebel planes and two vessels. It added that two planes were destroyed in other areas.
