At last the recording of the original cast singing a selection from the show everyone's been
"Saind Days", talking about, has arrived in Hongkong.
The music for "Salad Days” was written by Julian Slade, who has now become a 'bright young man' the theatre-the +150 book and lyrics were written by Julian Slade, to- gether with Dorothy Reynolds.
The play
written was originally for the Bristol Old Vic Company, for their regular Bummer secson in 1954, but it proved to be such a success that it was removed to the Vaudeville Theatre, London, later the same year, where it is still running.
Excerpts and songs from "Salad Days," Bung by tha principals and chorus of the Bristol Old Vie production at the Vaudeville, London, with Edward Rubrch and Robert Bocker at two planos, can, bo heard on Monday evening at hald grøt eight.
