SHARE PRICES FALL LOWER

Two Setbacks This Week

HIGHER YIELDS NEEDED TO

BRING BUYERS BUYERS

BACK

By A Special Correspondent

The share market suffered two setbacks this week cutting the prices of many shares by between one and three per cent and one by six per cent. The first fall came on Tuesday. Prices were marked down sharply, largely understand, due to nervous selling by Chinese shareholders.

There was a slight recovery on Wednesday and then the second dip came yesterday. Although losses were less marked than those on Tuesday it appears that the same influences were at work.
