Mr Jezzard Of England Is On Way Back
By HAROLD PALMER
Bedford Jezzard, tall, speedy, resolute Fulham centre. forward, is back in form. Jezzard made his name in the 1952-53 and 1953-54 seasons. They brought him a total of 72 League goals.
It was not surprising he became England's centre- forward. It was unfortunate, however, that he had to start in a team so humiliated as that which lost 7-1 to Hungary at Budapest in May last year.
