An American rubber manufacturer forecast today a "new era" of stability for the industry and said that hence- forth synthetic and natural rubber will compete on equal terms.

era, Mr P. W. Litchfield, Chairman of the Goodyear Tyre and Rubber Co. said, has been ushered in with the passing of the nation's synthetic rubber facilities from Government to private control.
