DECISION
United Nations, Oct. 14.
The United Nations Security Council tonight rejected Israel's request for urgent consideration of Egypt's restrictions on Suez Canal traffic and the seizure of an Israeli ship.
The Council heard preliminary statements by Israel's Mr Abba Eban, who said urgent considera- tion was necessary, and Mahmoud Azmi of Egypt who maintained the Council should await a report from the Israeli-Egyptian Mixed Armistice Com- mission now investigating the incident.
On a Brazilian motion the Council adjourned-- after 31⁄2 hours' discussion—until the Armistice Com. mission reports.
