All Danish observation posts had been alerted to watch for a Soviet naval squadron now believed to be heading south into the Kattegat-between Denmark and Sweden-towards the Baltic, It was learned here today.
The squadron consisting of two heavy cruisers of the 10,000-ton Sverdlov class, and several tor- pedo boats, was earlier reported to be approaching the Skaw, the northern point of Denmark.
