Tito Won't Allow Yugoslav Troops To Be
Commanded By US Generals
Belgrade, Mar. 11.
President Tito's acceptance of invitations to pay official visits to Turkey and Greece is regarded by observers as sym- bolic of the importance he attaches to friendship between monarchist Turkey and Communist Yugoslavia, republican Greece.
The invitations come at a time when differences of opinion have shown themselves between these three countries which a year ago signed the Balkan Pact of Friendship and Co-operation.
In January, President Tito declared in Parliament: "We consider the further development of friendly relations with Greece and Turkey to be one of the most important tasks of our foreign policy."
