KOWLOON DOCK CLUB RINK BRING HOME A COLONY BOWLS CHAMPIONSHIP
By "TOUCHER".
The Kowloon Dock rink of S. Telford, A. M. Banks, R. S. Gourlay and George Coles yesterday achieved the unique distinction of being the first KDRC rink to win a Colony Championship title in the 19 years' history of the Colony Lawn Bowls Championships.
In the Open Hinks final at the Kowloon Bowling Green Club yesterday they wrested the title from the holders, A. R. A. Rahman, K. M. Rumjabg, M. D. Hassan and U. A. Rumjalin, by the decisive margin of 23-11 and left the feat of winning the event two years in succession still to be performed,

All-American Final At Forest Hills:
Seixas
And Trabert
Forest Hills, N.Y., Sept. 6.
The Wimbledon Champion, Vie Seixas, and Tony Trabert blasted Australia's feared "whiz kids", Lew Hoad and Ken Rosewall, out of the tournament today to provide an unexpected all-American final in the U.S. Amateur Tennis Championships and raise America's long dreary Davis Cup hopes.
Playing the best tennis of his career, the top-seeded Seixas smashed the power-hitting. Hoad in straight sets, 7-5, 6-4, 6-4.
And Trabert, the rugged Cincinnati clouter who figures to form a two-man team with Seixas for the Davis Cup challenge round against the Australians in December, completed the Australian rout by defeating Rosewall, the Australian Champion, 7-5, 6-3, 6-3.
