England Win The Hazzard Shield
In the annual cricket match for the Hazzard Shield played at Chater Road yesterday, England beat Australia by seven wickets.

In spite of a good stort by Noel Arthy and E. C. Fincher, Australia were dismissed for 137. Arthy carried his but for 02, while Fincher made 23 and R. Leary 18, Stokes and Kilbreed up 18. shared seven wickets between them.
England passed their oppo- nents total with the loss of Graham (34), Stokes (49) and Franklin (45), and continued batting to bring the total to 231 for the loss of three more wie- kets,
Klibee, with 02 not out,
Woodhouse took three wickets for two runs and Whitehead four for 10.
In reply, the Police scored 70 runs, A. Wilson being top-scorer with 21 runs not out. M. Wu- lamson contributed 19.
Spinks was the most success- ful of the Special Constabulary
was the highest scorer for Eng-bowlers, taking seven wickets
land.
