5 COLONY RECORDS FALL AT BOUNDARY STREET INTER-CLUB MEETING
By "RECORDER"
The last big athletic meeting of the year the Inter-Club match at Boundary Street yesterday-saw five Colony records bettered and so many Champions and record-holders beaten that count was lost of the upsets before an hour had passed.
The greatest performance of the match was that of Chan Wal-chuen, the SCAA giant, who heaved the discns out to a new Colony record of 128 feet 61⁄2 Inches. The throw places him in the front rank among Asian platter tossers and within sight of the Asian Games Championship in this event. He only recently left school.

Newcastle United Lose 5-1 At Home To Sheffield Wednesday
London, Dec. 20.
Driving rain over most of the country and the country's attraction on Christmas shopping combined to keep attendances to one of the lowest aggregates for a Saturday programme since the war.
Only about 580,000, compared with the near million and over million gates on some weeks, attended today's League programme.
