CONSIDERED
London, Sept. 8.
Britain is considering a new United Nations move in Pan- munjom soon to break the deadlock in the Korean peace talks, authoritative sources disclosed today.
Consultations are in progress with the United States and some of the United Nations participating in Korean fighting on a new proposal to settle the hotly disputed prisoners of war issue which is holding up agree-
ment.
The move was understood to have been initiated by Britain. Presont plans are to make this new move at Panmunjom before the United Nations is faced with the issue at its General Assembly in New York next month.
Suggestions from among the European members are to keep the Korean issue out of the Assembly, at least until after the presidential elections in the United States.
