American Drive To Transplant Rubber Trees To S. America
Washington, Sept. 12.
America is transplanting rubber trees from the Far East to Central America with "great success," a Senate Sub-Committee here was told today.
Mr Jesse Larson, General Services Adminis- trator, in a letter to the Senate Armed Services' Preparedness Sub-Committee, said that the trees would be out of reach of "any possible Communist aggression in the South-West Pacific.'
