RANDOLPH TURPIN TALKS

Brother Dick's Tips Were Wonderful

As Told To PETER WILSON

In my first two years as a professional I had 22 fights, and in 12 of them I met fellows Dick-he's my eldest brother—had fought before I had. The lips he gave me were wonderful.

There was the Australian Johnny Best, who forced Dick to retire with an injured hand in four rounds. It didn't do him any good, for Dick told me all about him, and when I met him the Australian didn't last a round.

That's just by the way. The victory I like to think about the one with Albert Finch-my

'Death Blow' To The Smaller Racing Ventures

London, July 15.

The new British, entertainment tax with its in- creases has made a target of horse-racing, greyhound racing and speedway racing.

The experts are already talking in terms of it being a "death blow" to speedway racing.
