Appeal against Tenancy Tribunal decision
The question as to whether or not the so-called landlord of 141/143 Waterloo Road, Kow- loon, was in law entitled to possession within the meaning of section 19 (1) of the Land- lord and Tenant Ordinance was argued yos- terday.
This was done before the Appeal Court during an appeal against a Tenancy Tribunal decision which held that Mrs. Marion Ramsey was not so entitled to the premises.

Mr. Loseby referred once more word to the definition of the "landlord"," and submitted that. whichever way one looks at it, she was the landlord of the house within the meaning of the section concerned of the Landlord and Tenant Ordinance.
Mr. Bernacchl, In the course of his reply, quoted numerous legal authorities to support lis contentions that though the ap- pellant was undoubtedly the landlord of the premises by de- finition, she was not a landlord within the meaning of the section.
