OBSTACLES IN THE WAY OF AN AMATEUR AA

By "ROVER"

There are few who will disagree with Mr. J. Skin. nor, Chairman of the Hong Kong Football Association, when he says that there is great nood for an Amateur Athletic Association If the Colony is to take its proper place in the world of sport.

It is the fervent hope of all who have a genuine interest in sport and the prestige of this Colony in the realm of sport that such, an

•Association will actually come into being.

Without in any way wish- ing to put a damper on th hopes and aspirations of Mr. Skinner and other woll-mean- ing gentlemen, however, [ would like to sound a note of warning.
