ADENAUER SAYS:
WAR WOULD BE WORTH WHILE FOR RUSSIANS
Bonn, March 21.
The West German-Chancellor, Dr.-Konrad 'Adenouer, - is convinced - that any war would be worth while for Soviet Russia which plocos Europo in its hands.
"It would be a great mistake if the Western world allowed itself to be lull- ed into sleep by a false sense of security," he declared in a statement which gave details of a recent Press interview by the Chancellor. "American armoment has advanced so for that there is no immediate
danger of the United States being conquered,” he said.
"However, I doubt whethei the Soviet leaders are so con- 77vinced of the state of American armament that a war would not pay for the Soviet Union.

Jerusalem attack on trusteeship
Gonova, March 21.
The text of a telogram from the Jewish Mayor of Jerusalem, Mr. Doniel Auster, stating that the entire population of the city will nover agree to trusteeship was published here today.
The telegram, which was ad- dressed to M. Roger Carreau, President of the Trusteeship Council, which is at present debating the statute for Jeru- salem, declared:
"On behalf the entire papu- lation of Jerusalem, I strongly oppose any plan to internationalise Jerusalem. Three thousand years ago, Jerusalein was a sovereign State having given to the world the highest moral and cultural values of the Blule, etc.
We will never agree to trusteeship. We are an integral part of Israel and ils eternal capital."
Mr. Aubrey Eban, the Israel observer to the Trusteeship Council, said today that the bitter animosity felt by all Jews 10~ wards Germans and Germany would not permit the return to Israel of even German religious bodies or institutions.
Mr. Eban spoke during today's dealing with debate on articles: the protection and return of ro- ligious property in Jerusalem.

The biggest counterfeiting case in Philippine history took on an international angle toi day following a stout denial by the Chinese Embassy of a statement by the counter- felters' leader that the bogus dollar notes manufactured were intended for payment of Chiang Kai-shek's troops.
The statement, made by Anti- paz⠀ Pineda, 140-year-old seit- confessed organiser of the coun. terfelting gong. Was fermot utterly fantastle by a spokesman for the Chinese Embassy.
Pineda claimed his operations started with a deal with Nation- allat agents who wanted to buy -$300,000 for the Nationallit
