Imports of merchandise into Hong Kong in February, amounted to a dueldred value of $248,671,123 as compared: with, $161,621,- 295 in February, 1949: The figures include Government sponsored cargoes.

Exports of merchandisa totalled $198,748,151 as .compared with $135,454,353 in February;

last year.

Imports during the first two months of the year amounted to $600,003,283 as compared with $320,057,277 in the first two months
