Plan Endorsed

Washington, May 10.

JAPAN

Draper, who recently returned from a tour of Japan, told a House of Representatives Armed Services Sub-committee the plan would reduce occupation costs imme- diately and enable the Japanese to become economically self-sufficient,

He testified in support of a bill to establish a US$150,000,- 091 revolving fund, which would be used by the Army to purchase surplus raw materials The materials in this country, would include cotton, Bax and word.
