FRENCH WAGE INCREASE Schuman Gives Concessions To Workers Appeal To The Nation
Paris, Nov. 26.
The Prime Minister, M. Robert Schuman, in a radio address to the French people tonight, announced, a wage increase of 1,500 francs per month for workers in Paris, and an in-
crease of 1,150 franes for clerical workers. He said that the Government had prepared two bills to be presented to the Chamber in the next few days; one providing for an increase in family allowances as from Dec. 1, and the second for a revision of war pensions, Urging that work should be blems wore not solved within' resumed immediately, he added: the framework of general policy.
