Home industrial shares con- tinued their advance, though more slowly than yesterday, which may be significant. In the seven Stock Exchange business days since the crisis started, industrial shares fell for three days and have since risen for four consecutive- days..
The industrial crisis, which is measured in the country by heavier unemployment than in the worst prewar depression, is measured on the Stock Exchange by an average loss of only about one and half per cent in industrial shares since the crisis started.
