Biggest upset in lawn bowls circles on Saturday was the defeat of Kowloon Football Club at the hands of Club de Recreio in Second Division. Re- creio, incidentally, did Kowloon Tong a good turn, for the defeat of K.F.C. has enhanced their chances of championship honours in this division.

Gaddi was on and off but bowled well enough to beat his opposite number, T. Hunter, who appeared to be suffering from the effects of some tooth trouble and could not get going.
