DURING THE Chinese New Year holidays, the Marauding Mohawks will stage two charity softball games, the first on Monday against the South China Squadron of the United States Navy in aid of the Bomber Fund, and the second on Tuesday against a strong Portuguese nine for the benefit of the worthy Society of St. Vincent de Paul.

Ever since the Mohawks town for the opening of the local Softball circuit, Hong Kong has been a softball-crazed burg, with the fans turning out in full every Sabbath, whilst such
names as
Lou Leight, Fitch and Joe Mor- ris have been on everybody's lips, their spectacular Leight-Fitch- Hearther twin killings being the chief topic.

Prior to the appearance of the Mohawks, and even until recent-Canadian Chinese ly, when U.S.S. Tulsa scored victory over the Mohawks, the U.S. Navy have always been con- sidered head-men in these affairs.
Convinced that they are the better team, the Mohawks will be all out to prove their super- iority over the great super-team from the U.S. Navy in this re- turn engagement, and, whoever wins, you can bet your last shirt that you'll get your 50 worth.
