To stimulate your desire for foot care, invest in a smart little pedikit which is full of aids you do not find in your manicure kit such as callous remover and pads for applying it, pumice stone for smoothing, mentholater foot cream for easing tension. All are im- portant to foot comfort and beauty.
Treatment
We all have a callous or two which should be removed. Moisten one of the felt pads in callous re- mover liquid, place it over the callous and fasten securely with adhesive strip. (If callous is very hard and rough rub Arst with pumice stone.) Let pad remain for ten minutes and then rinse surface with roarse towel to re- move all dead, Icose cuticle.
Repeat this for several days un- til callous disappears.

Use a rich foot cream (the mentholated one has a soothing effect) and grasp the foot at the arch and work down with firm rubbings towards the big-toe in crab-like movements. Begin at the arch again and work toward sec- ond toe and so on until all muscles of five toes have been massaged.
Then grasp the ball of the foot with both hands and pull in op: posite directions as if you wanted to split the foot in half length- wise. Continue this pulling along the length of the foot to counter- act the pressure of shoes.
