East then returned, a heart, and there. South was in the dummy, with the contract depending on bringing, in all, four spade tricks, The contract also depended on leading the right spade. Can you pick, the right card before you read on?
South, correctly led the nine of spades from the dummy! East naturally played low, and so did South. Next the Queen of spades was led, and once again East and South played low. The lead was still in the dummy, so a third. finesse could be. taken and South made his slam contract,
