By "Adrem”
THERE WAS A LARGER PROGRAMME OF CRICKET MATCHES ON SATURDAY THAN ON ANY PREVIOUS OCCASION THIS SEASON AND, IN IDEAL WEATHER CONDITIONS, SOME VERY ENJOYABLE GAMES RESULTED.
As far as batsmen were concerned honours went to Donald Anderson and Harry Owen Hughes, who between them made no fewer than 190 runs in the same game, at Cox's Road, in the drawn match be- tween the senior teams of Kowloon and Hong Kong Cricket Clubs.
Bowlers in the news were A. R. Minu, who was playing again seriously after a period of inactivity, and S. Mahmood, who returned yet another useful performance to take 8 for 46.

STONOR'S
BIG INNINGS
Notwithstanding a fine innings by Stonor, who was well supported by Gardner and Haskins, R.A.O.C. were unable to force a decision against R.A.P.C. in a friendly cricket match at Sookun- poo yesterday and the match was left drawn.
Stonor and Gardner added 62 for the first R.A.O.C. wicket and Boocock (9) and Stonor put on 44 for the third wicket. With five wickets down. Ordnance declared. Thanks to a gallant innings of 36 by Taylor, R.A.P.C. were able to save the match, their last two men being in when time was call- ed. Boocock and Haskins bowled well, the former being particular- ly steady.
