On Monday, the 11th November, the General Post Office and Kowloon Con. tral Post Office will be open from 8 a.m. to noon, Shaungwan Branch Post Office wilt be open from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.

There will be one collection from the pillar boxes as on Sundays, one dall- very of ordinary correspondence at 11,30 am, and one delivery of register. ed correspondence at 11 am.

There will also be and delivery of ordinary correspondence at 11a.m. from the Branch Post Offices at Stan. loy, Tal Po and Un Long.

The Money Order Office will be en. tirely closed.

Greeting Corda (Christmas, Now Year, etc.) must contain no written matter, except the name and address of the sender, and must be posted in unsealed covers, which must be clearly marked "Greeting Card". The rate of postage is 5 cents per 2 ounces for all countries, except Hong Kong, China and Macao which is 2 centa раг 2 ounces.

The Imperial "Airways Service be- twean Hong Kong and Bangkok is tam. porarily suspended. Air mail corres pondence will be accepted at the exist- ing rates of postage and will be for- warded by the first opportunity by steamer to Singapore to connect with the east and west bound air services.

An air mail service providing a con- nection with British Overseas Airways at Rangoon will be available during the i period of suspension of the Hong Kong- Bangkok Service.

The postage rates for all destinations will be $1.50 per 1/2 01. for letters and $0.75 each for postcards, Mail for this service should be superscribed "Via Rangoon" and bear the usual blue air mail label.
