Police officers under Det. Sgt. H. J. Baldwin carried out a surprise raid yesterday morning in the Yaumati district, arrest- ing two women and res- cuing three children.
The visit was paid to the first floor of No. 68, Temple Street. following the receipt of informa- tion that a number of children] were kept on the promises.
The women, Li Mui, 42, and her 19-year-old' daughter, Leung Wing, as well as the children, two 13-year-old girls and one three-year-old
were all taken to the S.C.A. immediately after the raid for further investi- gation.
