THE ECONOMIC co-operation commission of the Pan-American Conference at Havana yesterday adopted the Chilean proposal providing that the
Latin-American countries shall take over public
utility concerns controlled by extra-Continental in-
terest which are threatened with seizure by foreign
interests.
