London, To-day.
SİNGAPORE IS ONE OF THE most important points in the world, declared Professor Denis Saurat, Director of the French Institute, lecturing in London last night on Anglo-French co-operation in Asia.
He declared the fate of China would not only be the fate of India but of the pro-British forces in the Far East. For- tunately Singapore was in a very strong position and French experts who had visited the island declared it practically impregnable.
