London, To-day, THE “MANCHESTER GUARDIAN," in its leader yesterday, pointed out that the new Anglo-French financial agree. ment was one thing missing from the comprehensive economic agreement of November 17, and gives the lie 'to the German legend that the interests of the Allies are separate and to propaganda seeking to divide them. It is worth emphasising that under Paragraph 9 of the new agreement the two Governments will share certain items of expenditure. "The contribution of the two Gov- ernments is fixed on a basis which takes into due account the national wealth of each.
"In general the French contri- bution will be 40 per cent, and the British 60 per cent. of the total."
